Avaya Showcases Latest Innovations at Pune R&D Center

Says new Snap-in applications reduce communications workflow development time and cost

At its largest research and development (R&D) center in Pune, India, Avaya showcased new innovations in its Avaya Engagement Environment – a portfolio of solutions which help accelerate the development of communications-enabled applications.

Now, companies, partners, business analysts, and ISVs, can integrate voice, video, text, email and mobility seamlessly into business applications announced the press release. The portfolio includes the Avaya Engagement Development Platform, Avaya Snap-in modules, and the AvayaLive Collaboratory.

Also available is the AvayaLive Collaboratory – a cloud based “sandbox” for developers to innovate, experiment, and test their applications. This virtual instance is available to customers and developers in selected markets, giving the Avaya community the freedom to experiment and innovate by building new Snap-in customized to their specific needs.

“Integrating communications with business applications is always difficult, time consuming and an expensive process while this evolution tops priorities list of business decision makers. With Engagement Development Platform, we have removed barriers to building these applications and allowed developers to focus on delivering an engaging user experience, instead of technical integration challenges,” said Vijay Mhaskar, Sr. Director R&D at Avaya India.
