SailPoint has introduced Agentic Acceleration, an AI-powered methodology designed to help enterprises modernize legacy identity systems and accelerate their transition to cloud-based identity security.
The new approach addresses one of the biggest pain points in enterprise IT migrating from on-premises identity platforms to the cloud, a process traditionally marked by high costs, long timelines, and operational risks. Agentic Acceleration aims to compress deployment timelines from months to days by automating much of the migration process, particularly the most complex and time-intensive tasks.
At the core of the solution is the SailPoint Virtual Architect, an AI-driven engine trained on decades of identity security expertise and enterprise deployments. It translates legacy configurations, workflows, and policies into a deployment-ready cloud framework, significantly reducing manual effort and improving migration accuracy.

The offering is available at no additional cost for customers transitioning from SailPoint IdentityIQ or competing legacy solutions. It also strengthens SailPoint’s partner ecosystem by automating early-stage migration efforts, enabling partners to focus on higher-value areas such as advanced identity security, governance, and addressing risks from the growing number of machine and AI identities.
The launch reflects a broader shift toward agentic AI-driven enterprise transformation, where automation and intelligence are embedded into core IT modernization processes.
