Ctrls Powered 7 City CIO Dine and Discourse 2018 Covered Delhi and Bengaluru

New Delhi and Bengaluru witnessed India’s first CIO Open Forums as the Enterprise IT World CIO Dine and Discourse 2018, a 7 City CIO event series kicked off a nationwide discussion on the Transformation of the Indian CIOs in the current technology landscape and the roadmap ahead.

The growing influence of IT in organizations and businesses has continuously transformed the role of IT Leaders in organizations from enabler and facilitator for better business to a direct stakeholder and key strategist for future. CIOs and ITDMs have been instrumental in transforming entire organizational frameworks, enabling never before efficiency and productivity through reinforced technology infrastructure and embracing a culture of innovation.

Acknowledging the key position of enterprise IT leaders who today have become the go-to business leaders in the Indian economy, Enterprise IT World along with Ctrls Datacenters hosted India’s first Open Forum for CIOs and IT Leaders across the country to come together and discuss their challenges with their peers and get a better insight into the right strategy for future. Aptly named the 7 City CIO Dine and Discourse 2018 Powered by Ctrls Datacentres, the CIO Dinner event is spread across seven of India’s biggest business and technology hubs.

The first two events took place at New Delhi and Bengaluru on the 9th and 16th of March respectively. The events saw over 100 IT leaders from the cities turn out as senior leaders discussed the topic: The Transformation of the Indian CIOs and the Road Ahead. The Panel in New Delhi was conducted by veteran CIO Subhash Mittal of ex-IFFCO fame and included speakers like Umesh Mehta, Global CIO, Jubilant Life Sciences; Vipul Anand, Group CIO, Jindal Steel and Power; Dr. Sunil Gupta, CIO, Ministry of Steel – ERU; Upkar Singh, Director IT, FIS and Anil Porter, CIO, InterGlobe Technology Quotient. The Bengaluru Panel Discussion was hosted by veteran leader Subbarao Hegde of GMR Group and Amul fame and witnessed effective knowledge exchange headed by speakers like Vivek Khare, Director IT & Facilities, GSN Games; Ranendra Datta, CTO, Terrago Logistics; Shibu Kurian, CIO & COO, 10kInfo Data Solutions; and Nitin Gaur, Director IS, Omega Healthcare Management Services.

The evening saw India’s first Open Discussion Forums for Enterprise IT Leaders where senior leaders and speakers shared their experiences, ideologies and approaches with young and emerging ITDMs in the audience who in turn raised interesting issues from their current IT challenges. The event was powered by CtrlS Datacenters.

Following the Panel Discussion and Open Forum, the CIOs and IT Leaders in the audience were addressed by Chief Editor of Enterprise IT World Sanjay Mohapatra who gave media insight and observation on the transforming role of Indian IT leaders and shed light on the publications CIO engagement plans in 2018, following up the successful CIO200 Tech Summit and Awards from 2017. The audience was also treated to a glimpse of the expanded CIO mega event for 2018, the CIO500 Mega Tech Summit and Awards as senior CIOs helped unveil the CIO500 logo in their respective cities.

While Mr. Anil Nama, CIO, Ctrls Datacenters introduced the Ctrls Datacenters with customers’ testimonials in Delhi, Mr. Gautam Ram, AVP, Ctrls Datacenters given presentation on Ctrls Datacenters, Mr. Bhavani Shankar, Senior Manager- SAP, Ctrls Datacenters had given presentation on Ctrls SAP services along with customers’ testimonials.

In the end there were lucky draws from Ctrls Datacenters in both the cities.
