Barracuda intros Total Email Protection Bundle

New Email Protection Bundle Offers Customers and Partners an Easier Way to Buy Barracuda Email Protection

Barracuda Networks announced a new email protection bundle, including the full stack of Barracuda’s email security protection. With strong demand from Barracuda partners and customers, the new Barracuda Total Email Protection bundle is offered with a single SKU for less administration, lower deal friction, and a faster sales cycle. Barracuda Total Email Protection bundle offers customers a defense against socially engineered business email attacks, fraud, and account takeover, and includes Barracuda Essentials, Barracuda Sentinel, and Barracuda PhishLine.

“Email security was once viewed as a way to stop spam from bogging down workflows—now it is viewed as mission critical and requires a multilayered security approach to successfully protect targeted employees, applications, and data,” said Ezra Hookano, VP of Channels, Barracuda. “With this announcement we are fulfilling a strong demand from our partner community to offer a single SKU for the full stack of our email protection solutions, offering an easier way for customers to buy all the email protection they need, the simplest way possible.”

Barracuda offers customers a combination of gateway security, data protection, AI-based targeted threat protection, and user awareness training to deliver comprehensive protection against email-borne threats.

“We’ve been looking for a one-stop-shop for email security, and Barracuda’s Total Email Protection bundle makes that a reality for us,” explained Joseph Marquette, president and founder, Accellis Technology Group, Inc. “Now we can easily offer our customers email security, protection powered by AI, security awareness training, and backup, all in one easy-to-understand package. This will simplify our sales process significantly, and that really sets Barracuda apart from the competition.”

A recent study commissioned by Barracuda revealed 87 percent of IT security professionals said their company had faced an email-based security threat in the past year. The study includes responses from 634 executives, individual contributors, and team managers serving in IT-security roles in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Overall, the research indicates that email threats continue to increase and the impact on staff and productivity is escalating. The vast majority of IT professionals believe that end-user training and awareness programs are a vital pre-requisite to help mitigate threats and improve email security. Barracuda Total Email Protection bundle offers an end-to-end solution against email-borne targeted attacks and social engineering.
