Route Mobile-Owned Masiv Appoints Marko Erkic as CEO to Drive CPaaS Growth Across Latin America

Marko Erkic

Communications Platform-as-a-Service (CPaaS) provider Masiv, a subsidiary of Route Mobile and part of Proximus Global, has appointed Marko Erkic as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2026. The appointment comes as Route Mobile accelerates its growth strategy across Latin America, a region witnessing increasing demand for digital customer engagement and omnichannel communications.

Masiv plays a significant role in Route Mobile’s global CPaaS portfolio, providing businesses across Latin America with messaging, voice, email, SMS, and OTT communication solutions. The leadership transition reflects the company’s focus on expanding its market presence and strengthening its omnichannel communications capabilities as enterprises increasingly invest in customer engagement technologies.

Erkic brings more than a decade of leadership experience across the telecommunications, digital communications, and technology sectors in Latin America. Prior to joining Masiv, he held senior commercial leadership positions at payments and infrastructure firms Fora Solutions and Minka, serving as Chief Revenue Officer. Earlier, he spent ten years at Infobip, where he led business development and regional growth initiatives across multiple Latin American markets.

Commenting on his appointment, Erkic said that the combination of Masiv’s omnichannel communications capabilities and the scale of Proximus Global creates a significant opportunity to redefine how enterprises engage with customers and audiences across the region.

The appointment also aligns with Proximus Global’s broader ambition of expanding enterprise communications services worldwide. Tushar Agnihotri, CEO of Route Mobile, noted that Masiv will play a pivotal role in strengthening Route Mobile’s strategy and accelerating growth across the LATAM market, adding that Erkic’s leadership experience will help deliver innovative communications solutions to enterprise customers.

As businesses increasingly prioritize personalized, real-time customer interactions, the leadership move positions Masiv to capitalize on the growing demand for CPaaS and omnichannel engagement solutions across Latin America.
