New Power Distribution Units aim to support growing demand for scalable and reliable rack power across data centres and edge environments
CyberPower Systems Australia has expanded its Power Distribution Unit (PDU) portfolio in Australia with the launch of four new rack power models designed to support high-density IT infrastructure and modern data centre environments.
The newly introduced PDU41004, PDU41005, PDU44004, and PDU44005 models are aimed at IT managers, systems integrators, managed service providers, and data centre operators seeking scalable and cost-effective rack power distribution solutions.
The expansion comes as organisations continue to increase server density, deploy edge computing infrastructure, and modernise network environments that require reliable and space-efficient power delivery.
“Our new PDU models deliver dependable, consistent rack power that just works,” said Robert Hartvigsen, GM ANZ at CyberPower Systems Oceania.
According to Robert Hartvigsen, the new models have been engineered to simplify rack infrastructure deployment while ensuring operational reliability.
“Our new PDU models deliver dependable, consistent rack power that just works,” Hartvigsen said. “They are engineered for simplicity, reliability, and seamless integration with UPS systems, giving IT teams confidence in their rack infrastructure.”
The new PDU lineup features rack-mountable designs, multiple IEC output sockets, single-phase power distribution, and durable metal housing for enterprise-grade deployments. CyberPower has also introduced higher-capacity 32-amp variants to support larger and more demanding network environments.
The company said the PDUs are designed to integrate seamlessly with its UPS ecosystem, enabling customers to standardise rack power infrastructure while simplifying deployment and long-term maintenance.
CyberPower noted that many businesses today are facing increasing equipment density and tighter operational requirements, creating demand for reliable rack power solutions that do not necessarily require advanced intelligent switching capabilities.
The company believes the expanded portfolio will also help channel partners and resellers offer complete rack power packages under a single brand, strengthening CyberPower’s position beyond traditional UPS offerings.
“By combining trusted reliability with scalable design, our PDUs help partners and customers build better-performing, more consistent infrastructure,” Hartvigsen added.
The new CyberPower PDU models are now available through authorised distributors and resellers across Australia.
