New Cisco-certified display mounting platform helps enterprises upgrade legacy collaboration systems with faster deployment and lower complexity

Ashton Bentley, a Kramer company, has introduced its new ABMX Display Mount range, strengthening its collaboration with and providing organizations with a streamlined migration path from legacy Cisco MX Series systems to next-generation Cisco Room solutions.

The new solution is designed to help enterprises modernize meeting spaces while reducing the cost, time, and complexity typically associated with audiovisual infrastructure upgrades. Built on Ashton Bentley’s Cisco Certified Display Mount Chassis platform, the ABMX range is available in both single and dual-display configurations and supports screens ranging from 43 to 115 inches.

The platform is compatible with Cisco Room Bar, Room Bar Pro, Room Kit EQ, and Quad Camera systems. It includes integrated mounting brackets, cable management capabilities, regional power distribution, and magnetic front panels that simplify maintenance and service access.

“Customers with legacy Cisco MX systems now have a simple and repeatable path to modern Cisco Room solutions that deliver AI-powered collaboration, intelligent device management, workplace analytics, and enhanced security,” said Tom Richards.

According to Ashton Bentley, the modular design enables tool-less installation, allowing systems to be assembled within hours without requiring extensive construction work or complex AV integration projects. This approach helps enterprises accelerate meeting room modernization initiatives while minimizing operational disruption.

“Our certified mounting solution established a new level of engineering alignment with Cisco,” said Roger McArdell. “We are extending that collaboration further by delivering a globally consistent platform that removes much of the traditional complexity of AV upgrades.”

The ABMX architecture supports floor-to-wall, freestanding, and mobile deployment options. By transferring structural load to the floor rather than the wall, the solution can be deployed in glass-walled offices, heritage buildings, and other locations where wall-loading restrictions apply.

The platform is also approved for Cisco deployments with Microsoft Teams Rooms under Microsoft Express Install guidelines, giving organizations greater flexibility to standardize collaboration environments across multiple communication platforms.

“Together with Cisco, we’re redefining how organizations approach collaboration upgrades,” said Tony Leedham. “By enabling partners to package displays, Cisco Room Bars, Room Kits, and AV infrastructure within a modular platform, we’re helping establish a new benchmark for meeting room standardization.”

The solution supports the latest Cisco Room devices running RoomOS 27, enabling seamless collaboration across Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet environments while helping enterprises future-proof their meeting room investments.
