SK Finance Ltd has appointed Ambrish Singh as its new Head – IT Governance, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening technology governance, cybersecurity, risk management, and regulatory compliance as it continues its digital transformation journey.
In his new role, Singh will be responsible for overseeing IT governance frameworks, technology risk management, cybersecurity governance, enterprise controls, regulatory compliance, and policy management. His appointment is expected to further enhance SK Finance’s technology resilience and governance capabilities in an increasingly regulated and digital-first financial services environment.
A seasoned technology leader, Singh brings more than two decades of experience across IT governance, information security, technology risk, enterprise IT, and digital transformation. Before joining SK Finance, he served as Lead – Technology Risk & Governance at Unity Small Finance Bank, where he led technology risk assessments, governance reviews, and third-party risk oversight.
Earlier, he held the position of Lead – Technology Change & Risk Management at IDFC FIRST Bank, driving enterprise-wide governance, risk management, and technology transformation initiatives. He also spent over 12 years with Canara HSBC Life Insurance, progressing through several leadership roles including Assistant Vice President and Senior Manager, where he spearheaded infrastructure modernization, business continuity, disaster recovery, and information security programs.
