Coolwave Appoints Alistair Popham as Business Development Director

Coolwave Communications, a global provider of voice and messaging solutions, has appointed Alistair Popham as its Business Development Director. Popham will support Coolwave’s next phase of growth as it enables customers to embed bespoke voice and messaging services into their applications, platforms and solutions.

Popham has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and most recently held the position of Global Business Manager of Voice Services at Epsilon. He has an extensive background in voice services, global management, business development and account management. Popham will support Coolwave in bridging the gap between the traditional world of voice and messaging and the next generation of platforms, OTT services and applications. Carriers and resellers, Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS), Over the Top (OTT), and XaaS providers gain expert advice and consultancy when expanding their communications services.

“We are excited to welcome Alistair to the Coolwave team as we move into the next phase of our business. He has a proven track record of listening and understanding to customer needs and enabling them to deliver trusted and reliable voice and messaging solutions. Throughout his time at Epsilon, he has worked closely with Coolwave and it is exciting to have him onboard,” said Ronan Higgins, Commercial Director at Coolwave Communications. “We are taking Coolwave to another level through strategic hires, network expansion and transformation and deeper customer engagement. Each step is about delivering for our customers and enabling them to seamlessly incorporate voice and messaging into their offering and extend their reach.”

Coolwave collaborates with some of the largest and most innovative organisations in technology, telecoms and software, delivering bespoke end-to-end solutions that are tailored to its customers’ needs. By removing the barriers to incorporating voice and messaging into mobile apps, CPaaS platforms, and OTT services, carrier customers can seamlessly expand their reach and capabilities.
