CIO500 & Accelerator X Awards 2026 Kochi Edition Draws a Houseful Audience at Marriott, Kochi

The CIO500 & Accelerator X Awards 2026 successfully concluded its Kochi edition at Marriott, Kochi, attracting a packed audience of CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, IT Heads, digital transformation leaders, and technology innovators from Kochi and adjoining cities. Organized by Enterprise IT World, the event served as a vibrant platform for discussions on AI, automation, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and technology-driven business growth.

The Kochi chapter turned out to be one of the most attended editions of the awards series, with the presence of several prominent technology leaders representing leading organizations from banking, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, education, financial services, and IT sectors. The event truly witnessed the who’s who of the IT industry in Kerala, reinforcing Kochi’s position as a growing hub for technology leadership and innovation.

The proceedings were formally inaugurated by the event emcee, followed by a welcome address from Sanjay Mohapatra, Editor, Enterprise IT World and Jury Member, who highlighted the growing influence of technology leaders in driving organizational transformation and business innovation. He emphasized how AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies are rapidly reshaping enterprise priorities and creating new opportunities for growth.

A major highlight of the evening was the keynote address delivered by Mr. A. Balakrishnan, Former Executive Director, Geojit Financial Services Limited, Event Chairperson and Jury Member, on the topic “Beyond Digital: How AI and Automation Will Define Kerala’s Next Industrial Revolution.”

Drawing from his extensive industry experience, Mr. Balakrishnan spoke about how organizations must move beyond traditional digitalization initiatives and embrace AI-powered operations, intelligent automation, and data-driven decision-making to remain competitive in the coming decade. His address resonated strongly with the audience and set the stage for a series of insightful discussions.

One of the most engaging sessions of the evening was the panel discussion on “Delivering Measurable Business Value from AI & Digital Investments.” The session was moderated by Kunnel Jose, Chief Delivery Officer, Magnum Networks Support.

Cybersecurity remained at the forefront during the second panel discussion on “Balancing Cyber Resilience with Cost & Complexity.” The session was moderated by Jayachandran Jayadeva Varma, Chief Privacy Advisor, Cylogics International Solutions Private Limited.
