mjunction announced the appointment of Vinaya Varma as Managing Director and CEO of mjunction services limited, an equal joint venture of Tata Steel and SAIL, and India’s largest B2B e-commerce company. Vinay has served the company for the last 18 years since its inception in 2001, and his last held position in the company has been that of its CEO.
Vinay Varma has been elected Co-Chairman of the CII Eastern Region ICTE Sub-Committee for 2018-19. He is also an elected member of CII Eastern Regional Council and CII West Bengal State Council for 2018-19 and an elected Member of NASSCOM’s Internet, Mobile & e-Commerce Council for 2017-19.
He is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Calcutta.
