MongoDB Appointed ANZ IT Industry leader Simon Eid as its Senior VP of APAC

MongoDB this week appointed ANZ IT industry leader Simon Eid as its  Senior Vice President of APAC, a newly created role based out of Melbourne to help support MongoDB’s strong growth in the region. Simon joins MongoDB after over 6 years at Splunk. 

Simon has 25+ years of sales and business management, having held leading positions at a variety of enterprise technology organisations including Dell EMC and Symantec, Simon will be in charge of accelerating MongoDB’s strong growth in the ANZ, ASEAN and Japan markets.

With over 100 staff in Australia and New Zealand, MongoDB has built a very strong footprint in ANZ this past year, counting many innovative brands as its customers. In ANZ customers include Woolies X, Macquarie Bank, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, Ticketek, Humanitix, and more
