Building New Perspectives in Technology Innovation: CeBIT India 2016

CeBIT, a technology accelerator for startups, BFSI, telecom, retail, manufacturing, production, digital commerce, healthcare to host the annual flagship event from December 8 – 10

HMFI, the Indian subsidiary of the Global JV Company HMG (Hannover Milano Global), is all geared to bring the 3rd edition of CeBIT India 2016, world’s largest IT and ICT event from 8-10 December 2016 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). CeBIT India is a global business IT event with around 400+ participants and more than 150 Starts Ups from across the world. The core theme of the event is ‘Discover the Business of Technology Innovation’ with an aim to pave the way of making technology accessible to all. This year, in lieu of its theme, CeBIT India 2016 is powered by technology, bringing together thought leaders, visionaries; innovators, SMEs and startups; CXOs, VCs, mentors & dignitaries and technology buyers and users across various industry segments. The expo will focus on five hot trends causing disruption across sectors; Social innovation, IoT, Cloud, Mobile & 4G and Virtual Reality.

CeBIT India 2016 will see an increased focus on Starts Ups in the Enterprise IT along with SMEs and MSMEs as well as trends in the IoT in manufacturing and healthcare sector. The special features of this year will set the central tone of the show. Prominent speakers this year includes Anuja Shukla, Venture Capital & Startup BDM, Google Cloud Platform, Ashish Chandra, Global Head of Technology-Retail/CPG & TTH, Tata Consultancy Services, Dilip Kumar Khandelwal, MD, SAP Labs, India, Biswanath Ghosh, Corporate Chief Information Officer, Mahindra & Mahindra and Dilip Chabria, Co-Founder Team Indus amongst others. CeBIT India will also see participation from Canada and Germany. This year, the Digital Transformational Leadership Series is back after a great response last year where 23 CIO’s were recognized for their efforts in various sectors. The platform is further strengthened by dignitaries and industry stalwarts with an established track record across these five areas with discussions leveraging on digital technologies and innovations to lead businesses and bring India closer to its goal of digital transformation.

Consortium of Electronic Industries of Karnataka – CLIK, the Regional Trade Organization, located in Bangalore, is continuing its association with CeBIT India this year to empower the electronic and semicon industry. The collaboration between CeBIT and CLIK will further promote growth in the ESDM sector and provide newer forays for collaboration between member MSMEs, government, and service providers, as well as encouraging global investment in the state.
