Avaya Techathon to Focus on Smart Everything

Avaya will showcase innovative solutions and services to help public and private-sector organizations in India achieve their digital transformation goals at its popular annual Techathon roadshow.

This year’s Techathon will focus on the key themes of Smart Everything: Cities, enterprises, banking, healthcare and education, as Avaya contributes to India’s journey towards becoming a digitized nation. Held in three cities – Pune, Bangalore and Gurgaon on October 6th-7th,October 15th-16th and October 28th respectively, Techathon 2015 highlights Avaya’s latest networking, collaboration and communication solutions designed for both mid-market organizations and larger enterprises.

Avaya customers and partners can experience how Avaya’s innovative technology is transforming different industry sectors – including Government, finance, hospitality, education, manufacturing and transportation – with cutting-edge solutions integrating Internet of Things, video, mobility, wireless, data analytics, networking and communications technologies.

India is a key focus for Avaya innovation, with the company’s largest R&D operations spread across Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad accounting for more than 35% of product & solution development globally. Avaya’s India R&D centers comprise several thousand talented engineers, researchers, product management and support staff whose primary focus is data networking and unified communications in the state-of-the-art research and engineering lab and infrastructure.
