Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Adds VTech Phones to Vertical Market Portfolio

ALE announced a selected range of VTech phones will be added to the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Vertical Markets offer and catalogs in Europe, with a target to reach more regions later in 2017. Together, ALE and VTech, a leading global manufacturer of industry-specific corded and cordless phones, will deliver more options to meet the communications needs of healthcare and hospital customers.

Specially made for hospitality and healthcare organizations, customers can personalize the phones with customizable faceplates with the company’s brand and dialing instructions. The phones can be wall mounted or easily installed in convenient spots for hotel or healthcare staff, guests or patients.

The selected analog and SIP phones are from VTech’s Contemporary product line and have compact footprints, antibacterial plastic, respect compliance standards, green standards and are validated to operate on the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX® Enterprise, OmniPCX Office RCE and Alcatel-Lucent OXO Connect. Several programmable speed dials allow quick access to pre-defined services. The phones and faceplates will be available via the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Business Partners network.

“The hospitality and healthcare markets are key verticals for ALE, where we have a historical presence and have been working in close proximity with our customers for over 20 years. The relationship with VTech is part of a continuous move from ALE to offer relevant end-to-end solutions and services through our distribution channels,” said Christophe Ameline, head of Vertical Markets Strategy & Offer at ALE.

“This relationship offers tremendous opportunities for both companies,” said Charles M.A. Williams, Sales Director, EMEA of VTech Communications Limited. “VTech’s commitment to growing its hospitality business, combined with ALE expertise in the PBX industry, will bring great benefits to both parties.”
