“Our digital-intelligence strategy is transforming every stage of the insurance value chain, from sales and claims to pricing and branch operations, creating sustainable growth through technology and data.”
A key driver behind the performance has been Sunshine Insurance’s expanding use of AI-powered agents across sales, customer engagement, claims management, pricing, and branch operations. In life insurance, AI sales robots have been integrated into nearly every customer interaction stage, using data analytics to generate customer insights, personalized marketing plans, and real-time conversion opportunities. During the reporting period, the platform supported 263,000 customer management activities and generated converted premiums exceeding RMB30 million.
The company has also expanded AI adoption in claims processing. Its claims service robot assisted 1.09 million customers in the first half, delivering more than 400,000 intelligent responses and achieving a customer satisfaction rate of 98%. Automated workflows have shortened average claims settlement times by 10 days.
Sunshine Insurance’s data engineering initiatives are further enhancing risk pricing and operational efficiency. With AI-driven actuarial models, data preparation times have been reduced significantly, enabling faster and more accurate underwriting decisions.
As China’s insurance sector advances toward high-quality growth, Sunshine Insurance is positioning itself as a leading example of how AI, automation, and data-driven operations can reshape the future of insurance and create long-term competitive advantage.
