New multi-agent AI framework aims to enhance customer experience, network automation and operational efficiency for telecom operators

HCLTech has announced a strategic collaboration with Circles and GreySkies under the TM Forum Catalyst Program to develop an AI-powered framework designed to accelerate autonomous network operations and transform customer experience across the telecommunications sector.

The initiative brings together leading telecom operators, including , KDDI, Orange, and TELUS, to create a next-generation operational ecosystem powered by artificial intelligence.

The new solution combines Circles’ AI-native digital telco platform, GreySkies’ AI-driven network operations capabilities, and HCLTech’s expertise in AI-led automation. Built on TM Forum Open APIs and Open Digital Architecture (ODA), the framework enables telecom providers to analyze customer and network data in real time, anticipate service issues, and automate decision-making across business and network operations.

“By bringing together multi-agent AI capabilities with open, standards-based architectures, we are enabling service providers to deliver more intelligent, agile and differentiated customer experiences at scale.”

— Anil Ganjoo, Chief Growth Officer and Global Head of Telecom, Media and Technology, HCLTech

As telecom operators face growing demands for personalized services, faster response times, and improved operational efficiency, AI is increasingly becoming a key enabler of transformation. The collaborative solution is designed to support self-optimizing networks capable of responding dynamically to customer needs while reducing operational complexity.

Sanjay Kaul, Chief Revenue Officer at Circles, said the initiative will help service providers connect customer insights with network and business operations in real time, creating new opportunities for growth and differentiation.

Dr. Ibrahim Ghaleb, Chief Operating Officer at GreySkies, added that AI-powered observability and assurance will enable operators to identify and resolve network issues proactively before they impact customers.

According to HCLTech, the framework aims to improve service assurance, accelerate automation, enhance customer engagement, and unlock new monetization opportunities through AI-driven insights.

The project will be showcased at the upcoming TM Forum DTW Ignite 2026 in Copenhagen, where industry leaders will explore innovations shaping the future of telecommunications.

The collaboration highlights the telecom industry’s growing focus on AI-driven autonomous operations, open architectures, and intelligent network management as operators prepare for the next phase of digital transformation.
