Highlights regarding implementations in 2016: Major highlight for 2016 was to improve response time for mission critical applications by upgrading infrastructure and upgrading applications to latest version of software.
Plans for 2017 from technology and projects’ point of view: Next year focus will be to reduce overall IT cost and Oracle License cost is big component under IT cost. We will focus on how workload on Oracle can be reduced so that future oracle license growth can be restricted and by minimizing workload on oracle we can improve performance of mission critical application as they will have more resource available for faster response time and it will also help business to scale up.
