XConnect CEO Eli Katz Joins i3forum’s Board Members to Drive Trust in International Voice and A2P Messaging

Katz joins existing i3forum board members from Tata Communications, Orange, Telefonica, BTS, Sparkle, and PCCW Global

XConnect, a Somos Company, the provider of world-class numbering intelligence solutions, has announced its CEO and Founder, Eli Katz has joined the i3forum Board. As a member of the board, Eli will help develop i3forum’s plans in multiple areas, including new initiatives to enable the global voice and messaging players to deliver trusted traffic, enabling enhanced revenue streams and reducing fraud.

Eli’s election follows XConnect’s recent membership to the group. As a board member, he will help influence industry evolution and drive the vision for the voice and messaging industry by sharing experiences and insights. He will draw on over 25 years’ industry experience to enable the global voice and messaging communications ecosystems to effectively validate and authenticate their traffic.

In addition to establishing XConnect, Eli is the co-founder and Chairman of Comms Council UK (CCUK) – the UK’s industry association for Advanced Communication Providers, established in 2004. He therefore appreciates the importance of using the collective power of the telecom industry to develop a successful and growing ecosystem collaboratively. As the author of a number of telecom related identity and fraud patents across the world, he can also bring a global technology perspective to his new role.
