Virtusa promotes Samir Dhir to head biz across verticals

Assumes responsibility for the Company’s P&L, including Sales, Delivery and Operations

Virtusa Corporation announced that its veteran Samir Dhir has been appointed President and will take charge of running all industry verticals for the organization.

Commenting on the appointment, Kris Canekeratne, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Virtusa, said, “We are delighted to announce Samir’s appointment as President at Virtusa. Samir has a keen understanding of the unique culture and client first mindset within Virtusa. In his earlier role, Samir spearheaded the delivery leadership for Virtusa from India and was responsible for bringing delivery efficiency and scale to support Virtusa’s worldwide business operations. As one of India’s top thought leader, Samir was also member of key industry forums like NASSCOM’s prestigious IT Council. Under his leadership, NASSCOM released a comprehensive report on, ‘The Digital Readiness of Indian IT service providers’.
