NetApp has appointed Beth O’Callahan as its Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). O’Callahan, who has served as NetApp’s Chief Legal Officer (CLO) since 2013, will now take on an expanded role to enhance collaboration and execution across the company.
In addition to overseeing Legal, Compliance, Government Relations, and Sustainability, she will now lead Human Resources, Workplace Experience, and Corporate Communications. The move, effective March 3, aims to unify critical business functions under a single leadership structure to drive efficiency and alignment.
“With Beth at the helm in this expanded capacity, we are strengthening our ability to execute with agility while fostering a more integrated and high-achieving organization,” said NetApp CEO George Kurian. “Her deep understanding of our business and track record of impact make her the ideal leader for this role.”
O’Callahan has played a key role in shaping NetApp’s legal and compliance strategies. She is known for her leadership in building high-performing teams, fostering diversity, and ensuring ethical business practices.

She has received several accolades, including the National Diversity Council’s Leadership Excellence in Technology Award and The Silicon Valley Business Journal Women of Influence Award. She also serves on the boards of Bay Scholars and the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley.
