New platform enhances AI reasoning inference with intelligent data solutions

NetApp has announced a new collaboration with NVIDIA, integrating its intelligent data infrastructure with the NVIDIA AI Data Platform reference design. This partnership aims to help businesses maximize the value of their data for AI-driven inference and reasoning.

“Traditional computing architectures and data management techniques are not up to the task of helping businesses thrive in the AI era,” said Krish Vitaldevara, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Platform at NetApp. “By combining the NVIDIA AI Data Platform with NetApp ONTAP’s AI management capabilities, enterprises can seamlessly integrate AI into their workflows while maintaining security and compliance.”

The NVIDIA AI Data Platform supports agentic AI workloads by integrating NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, Blackwell GPUs, and networking solutions with NetApp’s advanced metadata cataloging, hybrid cloud capabilities, and AI-driven storage. These features enhance AI-powered insights and decision-making.
