MetricStream Executive Chairman Gunjan Sinha Recognised

The National Law Journal has recognised Mr. Sinha as a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) pioneer

MetricStream’s Executive Chairman, Gunjan Sinha has been selected by The National Law Journal as one of 50 leaders world-wide in their inaugural list of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Trailblazers and Pioneers.
The National Law Journal’s inaugural list and corresponding report recognises the pioneering spirit of Mr.Gunjan Sinha, a Silicon Valley entrepreneur who has built MetricStream, and led the company in its vision to help businesses, regulators, and governments around the world improve their governance, manage risk, ensure compliance with regulations, and enhance performance.

“While we realise that there are hundreds who could be acknowledged for their contributions towards transforming the way law ¬firms approach governance, risk and compliance, we believe this list to be the best. Governance, Risk and Compliance Trailblazers & Pioneers catalogs the extraordinary accomplishments of these ground breaking thinkers,” said Scott Pierce, Publisher of The National Law Journal and Legal Times.

Mr. Sinha cites the banking collapses preceding the 2008 financial crisis as the ‘black swan’ event that forced business and political leaders alike to become more focused on GRC at a global level. He believes that identifying and correlating seemingly disparate information is the key to minimizing risk, saying “If you stream key metrics and data from different systems, such as email and human resources databases, and cross-correlate in real-time, you can proactively and prospectively detect potential risk areas.”

“GRC is fast becoming a pervasive phenomenon, and organisations large and small, across industries and sectors are looking to each and every employee, vendor, and partner to identify risks earlier. At MetricStream, we are committed to providing our customers with the most innovative enterprise and cloud applications for Pervasive Governance, Risk, and Compliance” added Mr. Sinha
