Shitole has held senior roles across several firms in the IT and telecommunications segment, including Cisco, Nelco Ltd.
FireEye has appointed Shrikant Shitole Senior Director and Country Head for India. Based in Mumbai, Shitole is now charged with leading FireEye’s growth efforts in India. He is a security industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in information technology. Shitole has held senior roles across several firms in the IT and telecommunications segment, including Cisco, Nelco Ltd. (Tata Enterprise), Avaya and Sify. He was most recently Managing Director of Symantec’s enterprise security business in India.
“Cyber security has never been more important to our firms, to our people, and to our national security. At FireEye I plan to lead our efforts to assist more Indian organizations protect themselves from cyber threats,” said Shrikant Shitole.
