Databricks Integrates Tecton to Supercharge Real-Time Data for AI Agents

Enterprise-grade feature store joins Databricks to accelerate deployment of personalised AI applications

Databricks, the Data and AI company, has announced that Tecton, the leading real-time enterprise feature store, will soon join its platform. Tecton powers AI agents by preparing, curating, and serving mission-critical contextual data for applications such as fraud detection, risk scoring, and personalised recommendations.

The integration will merge Tecton’s capabilities with Databricks’ Agent Bricks, enabling enterprises to move faster from raw data to production-ready AI agents. Customers can expect seamless embedding of Tecton’s feature store directly into Databricks workflows, streamlining AI agent development and deployment.

“By bringing Tecton into Databricks, we are giving AI agents the real-time, reliable data they need to make smarter, faster, and personalised decisions in production.”

Successfully deploying AI agents requires instant access to fresh, reliable data. Real-time fraud detection, for instance, relies on the latest transaction patterns, risk scores, and user signals to make accurate decisions. Tecton centralises and automates the creation, sharing, and serving of this data, providing:

  • Lightning-fast performance – sub-10 ms latency, sub-100 ms freshness, and 99.99% uptime
  • Trusted data correctness – point-in-time consistency ensures models train, test, and serve on reliable data
  • Simplicity – full lifecycle management from definition to production deployment
  • Cost efficiency – enterprise-grade scale at optimized cost

Founded by the team behind Uber’s AI and ML platform, Tecton is widely trusted by Fortune 500 companies and startups to fuel their most critical AI projects.

Databricks has a long-standing partnership and shared vision with Tecton, including prior investment and joint customers across industries. This collaboration unites Tecton’s real-time data serving with Databricks’ AI tooling, enabling enterprises to build, deploy, and scale both classic machine learning models and agentic AI applications more efficiently.

“With Tecton integrated into Databricks, our customers can now deliver AI agents that are smarter, faster, and more personalised, backed by reliable, real-time data,” a Databricks spokesperson said.
