Cyberoam Concludes Channel Convention 2014

Renowned Motivational & Sales Trainer, Behavioural Specialist & Coach Mr.Asit Ghosh was also invited to this year’s event.

Cyberoam recently concluded the third edition of its yearly Channel Convention in a grand fashion. The convention this year was organised in Dubai from Oct 9 to Oct 11.

The event with the theme ‘Think Big. Think Success’ is organised every year by Cyberoam to acknowledge the efforts of its extensive partner community and share the future roadmap with them. Expressing his views on this year’s event, a Cyberoam Partner, Sudhir Sharma, Owner, Versatile Infosecurity, commented that “We are new to Cyberoam and this was our first time at the convention; one must say that the conception and execution of the entire event has been exceptional. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay in Dubai. We wish to express our contentment with Cyberoam’s way of mixing business with fun and are looking forward to similar occasions for celebration in the future as well.”

Initiating this year’s convention, Mr. Sunil Sharma, VP Sales & Operations (India & SAARC), Cyberoam, presented an overview of future opportunities and prospects in the security market in India. He also spoke about various initiatives taken by Cyberoam to benefit the partner community in terms of sales & marketing and technical training and support.

During the convention, Cyberoam MD & CEO, Hemal Patel shared his experience as an entrepreneur and gave tips on how to promote value innovation within an organisation, manage organisational tasks and find avenues to convert challenges into opportunities. Mr. Patel included several anecdotes from his own career to illustrate numerous decision challenges an entrepreneur comes across in a business and how having a firm faith in one’s own abilities can help people from losing the focus.

In another session, Mr. Abhilash Sonwane, Sr. VP (Technology & Products) discussed Cyberoam’s role in striking a right balance between Security, Connectivity and Productivity. He also discussed how Cyberoam is helping CEO’s and CIO’s in organisations to come to a common ground as their objectives of collaboration and security find equal place in Cyberoam’s solutions.
