Preethi Menon, VP – Alliances, Clover InfotechPractices and Pre-Sales

Briefly tell about your Clover Infotech?

Clover Infotech is a comprehensive IT services and consulting enterprise with a legacy in fostering digital transformation and business efficiency across industries. We are an Oracle Platinum Partner, focused on platform and infrastructure cloud services, as well as Financials and ERP Cloud.

We work with leading private sector banks, insurance companies and financial firms and are heralding their efforts on application modernization and cloud enablement through a managed services model.

Through a well-defined development, support and quality framework, we consult enterprises on their transformation roadmap and implement business-critical technologies solutions in the realm of cybersecurity, automation, and new-age enterprise applications. We also bring extensive experience and expertise across the IT infrastructure management space as well.

How is your business situation now?

As a society, we are going through a challenging time. The outbreak of COVID – 19 has brought the global economy to a standstill and has adversely impacted the business environment.

We are trying our best to ensure business continuity for all our customers. We have enabled most of our employees to work from home and are working closely with each customer to ensure safe access to enterprise systems and data so that all projects and support engagements can run seamlessly.

What are you hearing from your customers?

Customers are now focusing on “Digital transformation” to enable the creation of a robust operational framework, ensure business continuity and enable uninterrupted productivity through measures like “Work from Home”. Collaboration tools and cloud native enterprise applications are in high demand. Customers are more interested than ever before in moving their ERP, CRM, HCM and other critical enterprise applications etc. to the Cloud.

What is your experience of Implementation of Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud?

Clover Infotech is among the very few companies in India to have implemented Oracle Financials Cloud for ourselves and for our customers. Hence, we are updated of the latest developments in Oracle Financials Cloud and are very well-positioned to cater to all implementation and support requirements across sectors and geographies.

We have a robust Oracle EBS and Financials practice and our teams have extensive experience across various types of implementation. We have also been among the handpicked Oracle partners for implementation of GST-compliant Oracle ERP Cloud in India.

We have created frameworks and knowledge repositories to function in an “agile” manner and implement Oracle Financials Cloud for our customers in the fastest possible time.

How Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud is helping Clover Infotech to navigate the challenges posed by COVID – 19?

Clover Infotech’s finance and accounts team has seamlessly managed the financial function amidst the challenges posed by COVID-19. While operating in “Work from Home” (WFH) mode, the Clover Infotech team has ensured that everything from employee salaries, to vendor payments and receivables, etc. have been managed efficiently. The head of our financial operations has conveyed to us that implementing Oracle Financials Cloud for ourselves has helped to ensure business continuity during COVID-19. Many organizations which have been using legacy on-premise applications to manage their financials have been severely impacted. Based on our experience, we believe it is advisable to move to Oracle Financials Cloud and enjoy not only uninterrupted business but also strategic insights in real-time to manage the organization’s financial health better.

How Cloud is enabling companies to create a safe Work From Home (WFH) environment?

Cloud is becoming the biggest enabler as companies are working remotely. Cloud-based collaboration and communication tools are essential requirements for building a robust digital infrastructure where employees can constantly connect, collaborate and work together remotely.

In a world witnessing social distancing and lockdown, cloud-based technologies have enabled organizations to operate remotely while ensuring that their systems and data is secure and is accessed by only authorized users.

Benefits of Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud

Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud is the most comprehensive, integrated and scalable financial management solution. It allows organizations to gain real-time access to live financial data. It enables organizations to comply with global accounting standards and multiple legislative, industry or geographic requirements.

Further, through live and interactive dashboards, it supports and enhances business decision making process and accuracy. It enables organizations to control costs and increase visibility into spending, manage cash position better, and most importantly, reduce processing costs and data entry errors.

Highlights on AI, Chatbots, Business Intelligence & Analytics and Database management

With the “WFH” mandate, there is a newfound appreciation for most of the above. Artificial Intelligence enabled systems and Chatbots are efficiently assisting employees in critical tasks as well as to manage rule-based and redundant ones. With respect to Business Intelligence and Analysis and management of the underlying databases, organizations will leverage the efficiencies in network, storage and compute to ride the data deluge, analyze data across dimensions, and run Analytics at scale to derive cutting-edge insights and take well-informed business decisions. The natural result of efficient use of these technologies is a visible enhancement in the top line of the companies, operational efficiency, and channelization of human capital’s time and effort into core business functions.

What according to you the partners need to do during this Pandemic?

Our partners in this context is Oracle. We are in constant touch with our partner to address any concerns from our customers and provide them round-the-clock assistance and quick resolutions as and when required. However, we have seen that our customers that have adopted Oracle Financials Cloud have been managing their business seamlessly. A severe customer escalation or issue has not occurred during the pandemic.

What according to you, your customers should do to maximize their productivity?

Every business is unique, and this question can be answered specific to a business. However, we believe technology is the backbone for most of the enterprises in the digital era. Hence, customers should focus on digital transformation. A technology modernization exercise can help. Applications that are functionally relevant and technically capable can be considered for migration to the Cloud. All critical functions need round-the-clock availability hence Cloud enablement is vital.
