Xoriant has announced the appointment of Scott Van Vliet, Corporate Vice President at Microsoft, to its Board of Directors, reinforcing its focus on scaling AI-led transformation for enterprises worldwide.
Based in Sunnyvale and Mumbai, Xoriant is positioning itself as an AI-native digital engineering firm, and the addition of Van Vliet signals a strategic push to strengthen its leadership in applied intelligence and platform engineering. At Microsoft, Van Vliet currently leads Azure OpenAI and AI Core Infrastructure, overseeing platforms that power large-scale model training and inferencing.
With more than two decades of experience, Van Vliet has played a key role in building and scaling global technology platforms. He previously led engineering teams behind Microsoft Teams and Azure Communication Services, supporting hundreds of millions of users. His career also includes leadership roles at Amazon, Relativity Space, and Mattel.
