GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company and a leader in digital engineering, has appointed LuJean Smith as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), reinforcing the company’s leadership team as it enters its next phase of AI-driven growth. Smith brings three decades of global marketing leadership experience across technology and consulting, with a strong track record of building brands, accelerating growth, and translating innovation into customer value.

In her new role, Smith will lead GlobalLogic’s global marketing strategy, positioning the company as a premier digital engineering partner for enterprises navigating AI-led transformation. She will focus on elevating GlobalLogic’s brand, strengthening go-to-market execution, and showcasing the company’s advanced capabilities in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Physical AI, while deepening collaboration across the Hitachi Group in support of Hitachi’s “Inspire 2027” strategic priorities. Smith reports directly to Srini Shankar, President and CEO of GlobalLogic.

A key priority for Smith will be amplifying GlobalLogic VelocityAI, the company’s comprehensive suite of AI-powered service offerings, and articulating how GlobalLogic helps organizations design and build intelligent products, platforms, and digital experiences at scale. She will also oversee high-impact, multi-channel marketing programs aimed at strengthening GlobalLogic’s presence across global markets and industry verticals.

Smith’s career spans senior leadership roles at some of the world’s most respected technology and consulting firms, including GE, Siemens, Accenture, and Cognizant. Across these roles, she has been recognized for crafting compelling corporate narratives, aligning marketing with business strategy, and enabling sustained market leadership during periods of rapid technological change.
