D-Link A/NZ Unveils DWM-314-G 5G Router to Power Next-Gen M2M Connectivity

D-Link

D-Link Australia and New Zealand has expanded its industrial networking portfolio with the launch of the DWM-314-G 5G Multi-Connect Dual SIM M2M VPN Router, designed to deliver high-speed, resilient, and secure connectivity for mission-critical machine-to-machine (M2M) applications.

Built to harness the full potential of 5G, the DWM-314-G supports 5G SA and NSA speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps, enabling ultra-fast data transfer, low latency, and reliable performance across distributed environments. With dual SIM support and automatic failover, the router ensures uninterrupted connectivity by seamlessly switching between networks if one carrier becomes unavailable—an essential capability for always-on use cases.

The device is positioned for a wide range of real-world deployments, including smart parking poles, kiosks, ATMs, retail outlets, surveillance systems, service stations, and smart bus stops. Its ability to support real-time data transfer and remote management makes it particularly suited for smart city and transportation infrastructure, where uptime and responsiveness are critical.

To extend flexibility, the DWM-314-G integrates a four-port Gigabit Ethernet switch, allowing multiple Ethernet-enabled devices to connect without additional hardware. The plug-and-play design enables rapid deployment, providing instant 4G/5G cellular and Ethernet access without the need for pre-configuration or specialized software.

Security is another core focus of the new router. Built-in VPN capabilities protect data in transit, helping organizations safeguard sensitive information across public and private networks. A user-friendly web interface allows IT teams to tailor configurations easily through any standard browser.

Engineered for demanding industrial conditions, the DWM-314-G features a corrosion-resistant, zinc-plated steel casing, wide operating temperature range from -30°C to 70°C, and high humidity tolerance. Wall and DIN-rail mounting options further enhance deployment flexibility, ensuring the device can be installed virtually anywhere, even in space-constrained or harsh environments.

The DWM-314-G 5G Multi-Connect Dual SIM M2M VPN Router is available now through D-Link’s authorised partners and resellers across Australia and New Zealand, reinforcing the company’s commitment to enabling secure, high-performance connectivity for the next wave of industrial and smart infrastructure applications.
