Colt DCS Strengthens Leadership Team to Accelerate Hyperscale Growth

New senior appointments underscore Colt DCS’s global expansion and commitment to operational excellence

Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS), a leading global provider of hyperscale and large enterprise data centre solutions, has bolstered its senior leadership team with the appointment of David Hyatt and Florian Hoyndorf. The move comes as the company continues to expand its global footprint and drive the execution of large-scale hyperscale projects across key markets.

David Hyatt has been appointed Senior Director of Development and Delivery, UK & Europe. With over 15 years of experience in the hyperscale data centre industry, he has successfully delivered hundreds of megawatts of capacity through high-performing teams. His career includes leadership roles at Iron Mountain Data Centers, Yondr, and ISG, where he oversaw projects spanning site selection to commissioning. At Colt DCS, Hyatt will lead strategy and execution across Site Development, Design, Commercial, and Delivery functions for the UK and European markets.

Florian Hoyndorf joins as Global Senior Director of Commercial Investment and Asset Strategy. A veteran with 25 years in corporate real estate and development, he has held senior positions at Cromwell Property Group, Logista, Amazon, and ALDI, and co-led his own investment firm. Hoyndorf brings deep expertise in major project financing and strategic asset development. He also serves as a visiting professor at ESCP Business School.

With these appointments, Colt DCS continues to build momentum as a trusted data centre partner for hyperscalers and large enterprises worldwide. The company currently operates 13 data centres with 19 more in development across 11 cities globally, guided by its commitment to sustainabilitytrust, and customer-centric innovation.
