HPE Unveils New Guarantees for Alletra Storage MP and StoreOnce to Boost Cyber Resilience and Efficiency

Jim O’Dorisio, SVP & GM, Storage, Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has taken a significant step forward in strengthening cyber resilience and data availability for modern IT environments with the introduction of new service-level guarantees for its HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000. The company also expanded its HPE StoreOnce portfolio with entry-level models tailored for edge and SMB deployments.

At the heart of the announcement are three key guarantees: zero data loss and downtime using high-availability synchronous replication; a cyber resiliency commitment with rapid access to immutable snapshots and expert support during ransomware attacks; and an energy consumption pledge that ensures optimal power usage and performance efficiency. These offerings aim to help CIOs mitigate data loss risks, meet sustainability goals, and future-proof infrastructure investments.

“Modern enterprises demand storage that is intelligent by design and agile by architecture.”

These latest SLAs are available immediately as part of HPE’s Storage Future-Ready Program, which already includes 100% data availability, guaranteed data efficiency savings, and free non-disruptive controller refreshes to lower total cost of ownership.

Further addressing growing data protection needs, HPE introduced the StoreOnce 3720 and 3760 backup appliances. Designed for remote and distributed environments, these systems scale from 18TB to 648TB and offer up to 25TB/hour backup speeds with built-in ransomware defenses like multi-factor authentication and data immutability.

The new StoreOnce models are expected to be available early in Q3 2025, offering a high-density, power-efficient solution for smaller IT environments without compromising enterprise-grade protection.

For CIOs navigating hybrid cloud complexity, these updates reinforce HPE’s position as a partner in secure, intelligent, and sustainable infrastructure transformation.
