Zoom is strengthening its partner ecosystem across Asia Pacific (APAC) as enterprises increasingly look to embed artificial intelligence into employee productivity, customer engagement and business workflows.

Zoom Communications has appointed Andrew Hindmarch as Head of Channel, APAC, to lead its channel strategy and accelerate partner-led growth across the region. Reporting to Carlos Quaderi, Head of APAC at Zoom, Hindmarch will work with distributors, resellers, systems integrators and service providers to expand market reach, strengthen partner capabilities and unlock new business opportunities.

The appointment comes as enterprises move beyond standalone productivity tools towards integrating AI across workflows and customer experience. Hindmarch will focus on Zoom’s AI-powered portfolio, including ZoomMate, Zoom CX, Zoom Phone and Zoom Events, helping partners address evolving customer requirements.

“Customers across APAC are looking at how AI can deliver value across more of their business, from how employees work to how they serve customers.” — Carlos Quaderi, Head of APAC, Zoom

Commenting on the appointment, Quaderi said Hindmarch brings deep customer experience expertise and a strong track record of building channel businesses across diverse markets. He added that his experience would help partners capture new opportunities as demand for Zoom CX and its broader portfolio grows.

“I’ve seen the critical role partners play in turning technology into real outcomes for customers,” said Andrew Hindmarch, Head of Channel, APAC, Zoom. He added that Zoom’s AI-powered solutions provide partners with opportunities to meet customer needs and grow their businesses across the region.

Hindmarch brings more than 20 years of experience in enterprise technology and customer experience. He joins Zoom from NiCE, where he served as Vice President, Partner and Alliances, leading the CX division’s channel business across APAC and the Middle East. He previously held commercial and channel leadership roles at Avaya, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and 3Com. He is based in Singapore.

Zoom will continue to develop its partner ecosystem through the Zoom Up Partner Programme, providing partners with tools, enablement and support to strengthen their expertise and accelerate go-to-market initiatives.

The appointment highlights the growing importance of channel partners in scaling AI adoption. For Zoom, a stronger partner ecosystem will be central to extending its regional reach and turning demand for AI-enabled collaboration and customer experience into measurable business growth.
