Zoho enters MoU with National Skill Training Institute to bring coding to students

Through this MoU, students will learn to create low-code apps using Zoho Creator

Zoho has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Skill Training Institute, under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Through this MoU, NSTI will offer a course in Zoho Creator, a low-code programming platform. Anyone with knowledge of basic programming concepts can enroll for the course titled Create and Operate Business Apps using Zoho Creator. It will be taught by Zoho Creator’s training partner, ITK Education Services.

This 6-day long course will be split into two parts—36 hours will be dedicated to training the students on how to use Zoho Creator for building applications and 12 hours to soft skills training. To provide the NSTI students with a great learning experience, Zoho has also set up a Centre of Excellence, a classroom facility with modern infrastructure, at the institute’s Guindy campus.

“Zoho is thrilled to partner with the National Skill Training Institute. We are providing students with an opportunity to learn how to create applications for process automation, a major requirement for any business in the age of digital transformation. With Zoho Creator, students can easily translate a business need to an app quickly without facing programming complexities,” said Hyther Nizam, Vice President, Product Management at Zoho. “We strongly believe in the power of skill training and hope to reach as many individuals as possible.”

“NSTI and ZOHO along with ITK Education Services have pioneered in introducing the industry-relevant course at the NSTI campus,” said H V Samvatsar, ISDS, Director, NSTI-MSDE. “This course helps the learners to effectively create mobile and web business apps using cloud computing. This is a joint certification programme and students will benefit from the globally-recognized certification. They can access gainful employment or start on their own by developing and publishing apps built on Zoho Creator.”
