Vishal Rathod joins as AVP- IT at Asset Reconstruction Company

Vishal will be based out of Mumbai and drive business outcomes using technology strategies and expertise gained from working in various organizations.

Vishal Rathod joins as AVP- IT at Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Limited. Incorporated in 2002, Asset Reconstruction Company is the first and most well recognised ARC in India who is owned by banks like SBI, IDBI, ICICI, PNB and strategic foreign investors. Arcil has since acquired exposure of more than Rs. 700 billion in about 1,000 such distressed Industrial units from over supported 65 private and nationalised banks by taking distressed asset from their balance sheet over its life.

Vishal comes from NKGSB BANK, where he was CIO. At NKGSB BANK Vishal was accountable for overseeing all IT operations within the Bank, encompassing digital transformation, Finacle development and support, infrastructure and network management, regulatory compliance, and digital marketing. His areas of expertise spanned across IT strategy, planning, project management, transformational initiatives, service delivery, cloud computing, information security, and operations management. During that tenure he had actively contributed to the successful implementation of new digital initiatives in collaboration with top-level management and fostered relationships with vendors and partners within complex IT environments. Before joining NKGSB, he was also working as CIO at SICOM Ltd.

Vishal will be based out of Mumbi and drive business outcomes using technology strategies and expertise gained from working in various organizations. At Asset he will be responsible for defining and managing technology roadmap of the company by analysing existing systems, business requirements and current performance, defining Product strategy and product lifecycle management and interact with top management regarding current technology landscape and future digital initiatives. He will also guide the team to manage the infrastructure, both on-prem and on the cloud.
