Veeam and HPE Deepen Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Enterprise Data Resilience

A unified approach to hybrid cloud, storage, and data protection aims to redefine resilience for modern enterprises

In a major move that underscores the shifting priorities of global enterprises, Veeam Software has expanded its strategic alliance with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to bring next-generation data protection and hybrid cloud resilience to customers worldwide. The strengthened partnership focuses on eliminating operational friction, simplifying recovery, and enabling organizations to safeguard data across increasingly diverse environments.

The collaboration builds on the momentum the two companies have established earlier this year, with Veeam integrating more deeply into HPE’s rapidly evolving hybrid cloud portfolio. As enterprise architectures grow more distributed — spanning physical datacenters, private clouds, and containerized workloads — the need for unified protection has become paramount.

According to John Jester, the company’s Chief Revenue Officer, the demand is clear: organizations want trusted resilience that works across every application and every cloud layer. The updated partnership, he noted, gives enterprises a powerful combination of agility, automation, and consistent protection.

“Enterprises want resilience without complexity — this partnership delivers exactly that.” — John Jester, Chief Revenue Officer, Veeam

Central to this announcement is a new wave of product and platform innovations. Among them is Veeam’s native integration plug-in for HPE Morpheus VM Essentials Software, now in beta. This brings hypervisor-level image backups for hybrid workloads and strengthens Veeam’s containerized workload capabilities. Enterprises using HPE Private Cloud Business Edition will also gain a fully integrated experience with Veeam Data Platform, removing the fragmentation and complexity traditionally associated with data protection deployments.

Another significant development is the deep integration with HPE StoreOnce, enabling dramatic storage efficiency improvements with data reduction ratios up to 60:1. Enhanced support for HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000, including NVMe capabilities and new snapshot integrations, promises faster backups and near-instant recovery.

Patrick Osborne, SVP of Hybrid Cloud Technology Acceleration at HPE, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to removing risk from modern IT environments while delivering innovation at scale.

As cyberthreats intensify and hybrid architectures mature, this renewed alliance positions Veeam and HPE as strategic pillars for enterprises pursuing true resilience — not just recovery.
