UST Global decodes future of technology with Microsoft

UST Global, a leading digital technology services company, in partnership with Microsoft, has embarked on a transformative digital journey that brings anthropology, art and technology together, to generate and transform innovative ideas into breakthrough services for customers. UST Global hosted ‘Future Decoded’ at its Trivandrum campus on 15-16 May, 2018, bringing UST Global and Microsoft Leadership, Digital Experts, Developers and IT Pros together to help expand the capabilities of technologists to create solutions of the future. At the event, Microsoft recognized UST Global with the “Innovation and Leadership in Digital Transformation” award.

The two-day event featured multiple keynotes, demos, panel discussions and hands-on labs where UST Global employees were able to experience the array of possibilities with artificial intelligence, how to apply machine learning to transform various business roles, data driven business innovation models, workplace trends, technology and talent, how to transform lines of business with modern applications and tools and techniques for building a cyber resilient organization.

UST Global has a long-standing, 360-degree relationship with Microsoft. Even before cloud became de facto, UST Global adopted Microsoft 365 and Azure as key components of their digital transformation and Cloud First journey. It enhanced the mobility of its workforce with Microsoft’s Enterprise Mobility and Security suite which allows UST Global employees to work from anywhere on any device at any time. UST Global has further accelerated its pace of innovation by transforming the application landscape using Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS). It has enabled on-demand compute scalability and high availability, thus ensuring improved cost efficiency, productivity plus greater flexibility and autonomy.

Having operations in 25 countries, across its own offices and client locations, it was important for UST Global to have a connected workforce. For this, UST Global worked with Microsoft Azure Bot Framework to develop Smart Bots that have been added to their websites, applications, Skype, Slack, Facebook Messenger, Teams and other Office 365 applications, which see, hear, interpret, and interact in more human ways. The framework also lets users use OpenSource Bot builder SDKs to build simple to sophisticated dialogs.

UST Global invested early with Microsoft on API Economy, Bots and artificial intelligence solutions which has ensured a unique value proposition among its clients, and it continues to make thematic investments in augmented reality, retail pods and other cutting-edge areas.
