Trend Micro, Broadcom to Jointly Provide Home Gateway Security Solution

Software suite provides enterprise-grade security with turnkey, user-friendly functionality

Trend Micro has entered a joint collaboration with Broadcom Corporation in the development of an integrated security solution optimized to protect home security networks from cyber threats and improve network visibility without compromising performance.

As the proliferation of network applications becomes more interweaved with emerging smart appliances and wearable technology, new challenges have emerged for home gateways, including easier access to unacceptable content, poorly configured software stacksand growing cyber-attacksrelated toInternet of Things (IoT) gadgets. IoT refers to how everyday products and appliances are increasingly being designed and manufactured with Internet connectivity in mind.
