Tenable Powers Unified Cybersecurity for SRF Limited’s Industrial Operations

SRF adopts Tenable One to secure IT and OT environments, sets up centralised OT Security Monitoring Centre under SecureOT initiative

SRF Limited, a leading Indian multi-business conglomerate in the chemicals and manufacturing sector, has strengthened its cybersecurity strategy by deploying the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform. This expansion builds on SRF’s long-standing collaboration with Tenable, and marks a major milestone in its mission to unify visibility across both IT and OT systems.

Faced with growing cyber threats like ransomware, phishing, and supply chain attacks targeting industrial operations, SRF is advancing its SecureOT initiative by establishing a centralised OT security monitoring centre, improving network segmentation, and rolling out advanced threat detection technologies.

“The biggest challenge in our industry lies in proactively outpacing the relentless evolution of cyber threats,” said Sanjay Rao, President and CIO, SRF Limited.
“Tenable One provides unified visibility that allows us to balance robust cybersecurity with the agility essential for business continuity.”

According to CISA, identity-based exposures account for 90% of initial access to critical infrastructure. Tenable One helps SRF assess global cyber risks from a single pane of glass, benchmark against industry peers, and gain deeper insights into its OT assets—empowering faster, risk-informed decisions.

“Tenable has helped us prioritise IT risks for years. Now we’re extending that visibility into OT environments,” said Rajeev Verma, CISO, SRF Limited.

“SRF is setting a benchmark in the manufacturing sector by taking a unified approach to risk management,” added Nigel Ng, SVP, APJ, Tenable. “They’re leading by example in securing both digital and industrial ecosystems.”

This deployment underscores SRF’s commitment to cyber resilience, regulatory alignment, and a future-ready security posture.
