TCS Ranked as Leader in Enterprise Architecture by Forrester

Report gives TCS highest score possible in corporate strategy and vertical experience categories

Tata Consultancy Services said it has been recognized as a “Leader” in Enterprise Architecture (EA) by Forrester Research, Inc., a leading independent research company, in its report The Forrester WAVE: Enterprise Architecture Service Providers, Q1 2015, authored by Forrester’s Principal Analysts Henry Peyret and Gordon Barnett.

The top 10 multinational consultancies, including TCS, were researched, analyzed and scored across 25-criteria, and grouped into three high-level buckets: Current Offering, Strategy and Market Presence. The focus of the evaluation was on large, global EA service providers with significant scale. Other criteria included a broad set of both ‘Traditional’ and ‘Advanced’ EA service offerings, presence in major geographies, key industry verticals and business domains, as well as sufficient interest from Forrester clients.

TCS received the highest score in the market presence category and achieved the highest possible score in the Financials sub-category. TCS earned the second highest overall score in the strategy category, with highest possible scores in “EA service offering strategy” and “corporate strategy.” TCS was also ranked second in the current offering category with among the highest scores in “vertical experience” and “traditional EA services.” Additionally, TCS received among the second highest scores in the “client satisfaction” category.

“EA is a core capability of TCS’ strategy of digital reimagination, business simplification and business transformation,” wrote Forrester’s Principal Analysts Henry Peyret and Gordon Barnett, in the report.

“Enterprise Architecture (EA) is crucial to effectively reimagining businesses. TCS’ suite of traditional and advanced EA services provides our customers exactly what they need to succeed. We are pleased to be recognized as a Leader by Forrester in their extensive analysis of the Enterprise Architecture Service Provider market,” said Nidhi Srivastava, Global Head of Business and Technology Optimization, TCS.
