In a significant move aimed at accelerating enterprise AI adoption, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a strategic partnership with Mistral, one of the world’s leading AI companies. The collaboration positions TCS as the first global systems integrator (GSI) partner for Mistral Forge, an advanced platform designed to help enterprises build and deploy frontier-grade AI models grounded in proprietary data and domain knowledge.
The partnership comes at a time when enterprises are moving beyond experimentation and seeking scalable, production-ready AI systems tailored to industry-specific needs. By combining Mistral’s cutting-edge AI models with TCS’ deep domain expertise and global delivery capabilities, the alliance aims to enable organizations to develop highly contextual AI systems with greater control, compliance, and operational efficiency.
At the core of this collaboration is Mistral Forge, which allows enterprises to design, fine-tune, and deploy customized AI models using their own data. TCS will leverage this platform to help customers across industries derive more accurate insights and improve decision-making outcomes. The partnership will initially focus on key sectors such as banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), manufacturing, healthcare, and the public sector areas where regulatory compliance and trustworthy AI are critical.
“This partnership reinforces our commitment to scaling enterprise AI with trust, control, and measurable outcomes at the core, enabling organizations to move from experimentation to real-world deployment.”
— K Krithivasan, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)
To further strengthen the collaboration, TCS will establish a dedicated Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Mistral. This hub will serve as a focal point for joint innovation, enabling the development of industry-specific AI solutions while providing early access to Mistral’s beta models. It will also focus on talent development, training, and building capabilities required to design, deploy, and govern enterprise-grade AI systems.
Arthur Mensch, CEO and Co-Founder of Mistral, highlighted the importance of the partnership, noting that TCS’ global scale and industry knowledge make it an ideal partner to bring production-ready AI to enterprises worldwide.
The announcement aligns with TCS’ broader “Infrastructure to Intelligence” strategy, which focuses on embedding AI across enterprise ecosystems. By integrating advanced models, domain expertise, and scalable delivery frameworks, TCS aims to help organizations unlock measurable business value while addressing regulatory and sovereign AI requirements.
The partnership signals a clear shift in enterprise AI from isolated pilots to fully integrated, industry-ready solutions designed for real-world impact.
