Sify Unveils South India’s Largest AI-Ready Data Center in Siruseri, Tamil Nadu

In a significant boost to India’s digital infrastructure, Sify Infinit Spaces Limited today inaugurated South India’s largest AI-ready data center campus in Siruseri, Tamil Nadu. The state-of-the-art facility was unveiled by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru M. K. Stalin, alongside key state ministers, marking a major milestone in Tamil Nadu’s vision to become a preferred data center hub.

With a planned capacity of 130 MW, this platinum-rated Green Data Center is the only facility in India with an on-site open cable landing station, enhancing global connectivity. The campus is also set to be powered entirely by renewable energy, underscoring Sify’s commitment to sustainability.

“We are not only building digital infrastructure but creating an ecosystem of opportunity,” said Raju Vegesna, Chairman & MD, Sify Technologies. “Our investment now exceeds ₹10,000 crore, and we foresee employment for 10,000 people—direct and indirect—as this facility scales.”

The Siruseri campus is purpose-built for AI workloads, high-performance computing, and cloud-native enterprises, offering scalable digital infrastructure for businesses and governments driving digital-first initiatives.

With this launch, Sify strengthens its position as India’s most comprehensive provider of data center and digital services, aligning closely with both national and regional digital transformation goals.
