Global Data Security Intelligence leader Seclore has appointed Roshan Cariappa as Regional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Asia and the Middle East & Africa, as the company sharpens its focus on scaling enterprise adoption and strengthening go‑to‑market execution across high‑growth regions.
The appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Seclore, as enterprises across Asia and MEA accelerate AI adoption while grappling with complex data security, privacy, and regulatory challenges. In his new role, Roshan will lead Seclore’s regional marketing strategy end‑to‑end, with responsibility for category positioning around Data Security Intelligence, pipeline and revenue growth, and deeper engagement with large enterprise customers.
With nearly two decades of experience in B2B marketing, Roshan brings deep expertise in enterprise go‑to‑market strategy, category building, and scaling high‑growth technology businesses. Prior to joining Seclore, he spent more than seven years at Vymo, where he served as Vice President – Marketing. During his tenure, he led brand, demand generation, and customer engagement initiatives across India, Southeast Asia, and the United States, helping build Vymo into a recognized enterprise SaaS brand.
“Asia and MEA are strategic growth markets for us, and sharper positioning and stronger go‑to‑market execution will be critical as enterprises respond to AI‑driven data risks.”
— Vishal Gauri, CEO, Seclore
Beyond his corporate experience, Roshan is an active advisor to high‑growth startups, working closely with founders on go‑to‑market strategy, positioning, and scale. He is also the host of The Startup Operator, one of India’s most prolific podcasts focused on entrepreneurship, featuring over 250 founders across more than 400 episodes. Earlier in his career, he founded a consumer technology startup focused on immersive virtual‑reality gaming for children.
Commenting on the appointment, Vishal Gauri, CEO of Seclore, said Asia and MEA represent some of the company’s most important growth markets. He noted that enterprises in these regions are seeking modern data security solutions that align with AI‑driven business models, making sharper market positioning and disciplined execution increasingly critical.
Roshan Cariappa said Seclore is at an exciting inflection point. “As enterprises scale AI adoption, security becomes the foundation that enables innovation with confidence,” he said. “Seclore is uniquely positioned in this space, and I’m excited to help build a cohesive market narrative and engage customers more meaningfully across Asia and MEA.”
The appointment underscores Seclore’s continued investment in strengthening regional leadership as it enters its next phase of growth, with marketing playing a central role in driving enterprise adoption and long‑term value creation.
