AI-powered low-code accelerates development 5x, drives 90% user adoption within weeks, and cuts licensing costs by 82%
OutSystems has announced that YASH Technologies has consolidated its global project-to-billing operations into vCentral, an enterprise-grade platform built entirely on the OutSystems low-code environment. Supporting more than 8,000 employees across regions, the new system streamlines multiple disconnected processes into a single integrated platform, covering over 92% of targeted functional requirements at launch.
Developed in partnership with Aaseya, YASH’s trusted engineering and technology services provider, vCentral was delivered in just eight weeks—five times faster than traditional development approaches. The rapid rollout enabled YASH to transition fully from a complex off-the-shelf system within its existing license period, leading to an 82% reduction in annual licensing costs and faster time-to-market for critical operations.
vCentral unifies all major project-to-billing functions, including project creation, resource allocation, timesheets, customer management, and operational workflows. Built with a secure, role-based architecture, the platform establishes standardization and automation across departments and geographies, enabling smoother collaboration and operational consistency. Early results show that key functionalities are now delivered 60% faster, significantly enhancing agility and execution.
“vCentral is a major milestone in advancing our platform-first operating model,” said Shilpi Gupta, AVP, YASH Technologies. “By utilising OutSystems, we unified multiple disconnected systems into one platform in a remarkably short timeline. This has boosted efficiency, improved cost control, and laid the groundwork for future innovations such as AI-driven automation. It has truly been a game-changer.”
Designed with modularity and future scalability, vCentral is built to integrate advanced AI capabilities, enabling predictive insights, automated validation, and intelligent decision-making. Upcoming AI-led enhancements include intelligent resource management and OCR-based document automation.
“The launch of vCentral is a powerful example of how AI-powered low-code can simplify complexity and drive transformation at scale,” said Vivek Ganesh, Regional Vice President, OutSystems India. “Seeing a platform of this scale go live in just eight weeks with measurable business impact demonstrates the strength of agile, platform-first delivery.”
With the core transformation now complete, YASH plans to expand vCentral with new modules, advanced customer management capabilities, and deeper AI integration—marking the next phase of its global digital transformation journey.
