New facility to help enterprises test cyber resilience across IT and operational technology environments
As India’s digital economy accelerates and critical infrastructure becomes increasingly interconnected, cybersecurity leader OPSWAT has announced the opening of its first office and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Lab in the country. Located in Bengaluru, the new facility marks a significant milestone in the company’s India growth strategy and commitment to supporting organizations in strengthening cyber resilience across both IT and operational technology (OT) environments.
The Bengaluru center will serve as a regional hub for customer engagement, technical support, partner collaboration, executive briefings, and cybersecurity workshops. More importantly, it introduces OPSWAT’s first India-based CIP Lab, enabling enterprises to experience simulated real-world cyberattack scenarios and evaluate security preparedness against evolving threats.

The move comes at a time when Indian enterprises, government agencies, manufacturers, utilities, and critical infrastructure operators are facing growing cybersecurity challenges amid rapid digital transformation. The CIP Lab is designed to provide customers and partners with hands-on exposure to advanced threat detection and prevention technologies across both traditional IT systems and industrial OT environments. Organizations can assess how their defenses respond to modern attack techniques while gaining practical insights into improving operational resilience.
Bengaluru, regarded as India’s technology capital, was a natural choice for OPSWAT’s expansion due to its concentration of global enterprises, innovation centers, technology firms, and industrial organizations.
