Made in India Video Conferencing Platform ‘Fokuz’ Launched

Amid noise around make in India collaboration platforms, another company brings its collaboration tool to the market. It is Skyislimit Technologies, a Kerala based tech start-up backed by ‘Salesfokuz’ team launched its secure and flexible video conferencing platform ‘Fokuz’.

Although some of the already established players including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex and LogmeIn Gotomeeting have already spread across breadth and length of the country but the centimet of make in India and its promised unparalleled user experience and high quality video and audio, go live option to any social media handles, effortless screen shares, built in recording feature, integrated chat option, file sharing and remote support will definitely give the MNC players a run for their money. However, recently launched JioMeet, PeopleLink’s InstaVc and Zoho Cliq are in the same race but its additional features including automated meeting reports by email which includes Username, Browser details, IP address, Individual time spent by each participant and Location of every participant would certainly set Fokuz aside from its compatriot platforms.

Manodh Mohan, Founder & CEO (Salesfokuz), Skyislimit Technologies Pvt. Ltd., says, “Working remotely has posed a huge challenge in the way we work and video conferencing has become an integral part of our daily life. Increased use of such platforms has given rise to issues like security threat, lag, constant disconnection, interruptions, poor audio or video quality, limited features and many others. “Fokuz’ was developed giving prime attention to such customer pain points. We aim to set new benchmark in the segment with our unique offerings.”

Fokuz would be available across Android and iOS devices as well as Windows and macOS computers, thus enabling new seamless experience for all meeting attendees. Unlike any other such platforms it features the option of unlimited participants. It will be available free of cost for the coming two months and can be accessed from round the globe at https://fokuz.io.

However in order to be successful in long run, the company has to make the platform as easy and simple as possible and price has to be as competitive as possible. My feeling is the collaboration market is actually becoming a too hot and looking at the demand from the customers, every player has a place.
