New models boost reliability, bandwidth and pre‑deployment flexibility for AV and broadcast integrators navigating growing IP workloads

NETGEAR will introduce two new additions to its M4350 switch family along with a major update to the NETGEAR Engage Controller at ISE 2026 in Barcelona, delivering solutions engineered to meet the demanding needs of AV‑over‑IP and broadcast environments. The announcement strengthens NETGEAR’s position as a leading provider of purpose‑built networking for professional audio‑visual deployments.

The new M4350‑16M4V switch brings enhanced physical robustness through its use of industry‑standard Neutrik locking connectors including etherCON for network connections, opticalCON for fibre and powerCON for power delivery preventing accidental disconnects during load‑ins or live events. It supports 16× 2.5G PoE++ ports with up to 1,130W of total power and 4× 25G SFP28 uplinks, with four modular interface card slots for custom uplink configuration.

“Integrators told us their biggest pain points: too much time on‑site, cables coming loose at critical moments, and networks that are hard to scale. We listened.”

— Laurent Masia, Senior Director, Product Management, NETGEAR

For large‑scale AV‑over‑IP deployments, NETGEAR is launching the high‑capacity M4350‑16C, featuring 16× 100G ports designed for aggregation and core layers where demanding, multi‑stream video workflows converge. Together, these updates expand the M4350 series to a total of 18 models spanning 1G to 100G, complete with redundant modular power supplies, PoE++, and SMPTE ST 2110 timing support. TAA‑compliant versions will also be available for government and regulated projects starting March 2026.

The company also unveiled NETGEAR Engage Controller 2.4, arriving in February with full offline provisioning. Integrators can now build virtual switches and WiFi 7 access points, design complete networks, and test configurations without any physical hardware. Once on‑site, devices only need to be connected and deployed via exported templates drastically reducing installation time and engineering overhead.

NETGEAR will showcase the new switches, Engage 2.4 software, WiFi 7 access points, Pro Router and more at ISE booth 2U240 from February 3–6, along with demos, educational sessions and partner showcases.
