NETGEAR ProAV Sets the New Standard for AV over IP

NETGEAR’s ProAV solutions are engineered specifically for AV over IP with out-of-the-box support for every networked AV solution currently available. The System has Flexible Designs that can change as needs change and makes it easy to expand and maintain with remote service & support. The brand offers a range of AV-over IP switches including its M4300 and M4500 Series that can expand, upgrade, and meet virtually every performance and budgetary need with a flexible and modular approach – up to 100GB bandwidth. NETGEAR’s Ethernet ports are fully bidirectional, so each port may be treated as an AV input or an AV output. Unusual 1×23, 6×18, and 4×20 configurations—are all possible.

M4250 Series Switches

An entirely new series of switches developed and engineered for the growing audio and video over IP (AV over IP) market. These AV Line switches combine years of networking expertise with best practices from leading experts in the professional AV market. As video transitions to running over an IP network versus direct cabling or even HDBaseT, there are many things to consider. The new AV Line incorporates NETGEAR IGMP Plus™ for flawless video over IP (including audio and control).

If you are using Dante or AVB in your audio deployment, you can trust NETGEAR’s new AV Line switches that are designed to integrate into your solution seamlessly and are easy to use and manage.

The new M4250 AV interface provides you with user-selectable profiles for common AV platforms (Q-SYS, DANTE, AVB, etc.) making it a snap to ensure the settings are correct for a specific audio or video application.

Video over IP

NETGEAR recognizes the explosion of video over Ethernet and has specifically designed products for AV over IP installations. The NETGEAR IGMP Plus, which allows out-of-the-box functionality for most all multicast installations, the modular switches accommodating copper, fiber, and HDMI inputs, we will work with you to find the right solution at the right price.

Audio over IP

The ProAV world has adopted IP as its delivery method of choice and NETGEAR is here to help. Our switches provide a range of sizes and mounting methods to accommodate any installation – from the university campus to touring road shows.

Per port, NETGEAR costs lower than traditional custom switches. Clients will save on the total cost of ownership (TCO) with NETGEAR’s native support for the encoder; NETGEAR accommodates SDVoE encoder cards directly in the switch. On top of that, only NETGEAR offers a lifetime hardware warranty and next business day replacement with 24/7, 90-day phone support, 24/7 lifetime chat support, and additional Pro SUPPORT for Business packages.

Performance Audio & Video can implement a NETGEAR Solution for your next project, bringing together the resources available from NETGEAR to help you plan, design, implement, and install an AV-over-IP Solution.
