Michael Haney to Lead Pegasystems’s Financial Services Business

Pegasystems has appointed Michael Haney as business line leader for financial services. Haney’s more than 20 years of industry experience – including consumer and private banking, asset management, capital markets, and trading services – will help expand Pega’s leadership in the financial services market.

Haney joins Pega from Citi, where he was most recently a director of customer segment management for U.S. retail banking and wealth management. Prior to that, he was Citi’s director of technology product management for global retail banking. He has also held roles at FIS, Barclays, UBS, and Celent. Haney is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he earned his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and computer science.
At Pega, Haney will drive the strategy and execution of business plans in the financial services industry. He has deep experience bringing innovative products and services to market across business lines and geographies, with a strength in strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and developing and deepening customer relationships.
