Logicalis Australia has announced the appointment of Luke Gardiner as Principal of its Technology Assurance Services (TAS) group, marking a major enhancement of its advisory capabilities for financial services and other highly regulated industries. The move supports Logicalis’ broader strategy to evolve its managed and transformation services toward regulatory‑ready, compliance‑by‑design solutions amid rising scrutiny across Australia’s critical sectors.
Luke will lead advisory‑led engagements focused on helping organisations translate complex regulatory requirements into practical resilience and uplift programs. His role aligns with Technology Services Director Peter Cardassis’s vision to embed Technology Assurance across Logicalis’ SOC, Private Cloud, and Managed Services offerings.
General Manager Lisa Fortey said Luke’s appointment comes at a crucial time:
“Regulated organisations are facing unprecedented scrutiny. Luke brings deep assurance expertise and a practical understanding of how to meet rising expectations without slowing down business.”
Luke joins Logicalis with more than two decades of experience across solution architecture, consulting, and transformation delivery, holding senior roles at Dell Technologies, NTT, Ethan Group, and Siemens. He has led major cyber resilience, M\&A integration, and operational transformation programs across financial services, federal agencies, and large enterprises.
The TAS team has developed TORA (Technical Operations and Readiness Assessment) a workshop‑driven methodology designed to help regulated organisations accelerate cyber resilience and align with obligations such as CPS 230 and the SOCI Act. Luke noted that Logicalis will host industry roundtables to refine TORA and help customers strengthen their governance and compliance maturity.
“Organisations need a defensible, practical view of their readiness not theoretical models. Our goal is to give them clarity, confidence, and a clear pathway to uplift,” Luke said.
